Contemporary Christian Music Is Horrible Stuff.
It turns Christianity into a horrid joke. I'm talking about the "Jesus is my girlfriend" type of music. It's a disgrace to music and Christianity. I will admit there is some Christian bands that can be good, they're mostly metal and I doubt I will hear that on the radio.

I agree. Just awful. Empty songs with ENDLESS repetition, that go on for too long. Believe me, i have been to evanglical youth groups many times (it was just for some friends) and at "worship period" they would play this godawful (excuse the pun) christian folk music that would go on for around an hour. I wanted to claw my ears out by the end of it.

Any "music" where people try to force a subject matter into it is going to suck. Great ideas for songs come from happy accidents and inspiration.

I said this before and you didn't like it.

I agree with this only half-heartedly. I agree that music such as "Jesus is My Girlfriend" is bad, but I really like contemporary music like remixes of Amazing Grace, etc.

 actually thats what i like least about christian music. when they tale a well known classic, and butcher the lyrics so that they have a christian message.

I love a lot of Christian Contemporary music. Try Toby Mac, News Boys, and Pure NRG (for the younger group.) I love the new upbeat songs that still glorify Christ.
