Since I don't play the "no true Scotsman" game, answering the question is really irrelevant.
However, I would argue that Constantine's conversion, genuine or not, was a bad thing for the entire
planet because it's what allowed Christianity to spread unchecked, often at the point of the sword,
and plunged the western world into a darkness that we're still dealing with today.
Had Constantine never converted, Christianity and indeed, all of the Abrahamic religions, may well
have vanished into the mists of time, and rightfully so. |
