Consequences Of Dr. Who - Fires Of Pompeii (spoiler Alert)
I think there are going to be some major consequences to the Doctor's actions here. Not only did he reveal himself to that Roman family, now there's a carving in Ancient Rome of him, Donna, and the Tardis. And what if someone 'bad' comes along and sees it? I mean, there have GOT to be repercussions to this.
It was a throwaway episode, it isn't like Dr. Who hasn't let tons of people see him and the Tardis,
it isn't like UNIT hasn't known about him for decades, and now Torchwood and tons of ex-companions,
etc.
I guess that's a good point, but still. I think it's going to have repercussions because Torchwood and UNIT are hidden institutions, and there's only so much they can do about him. However, there are others (i.e. the Master, the Daleks) who can now track him down and really do some damage. The ex-companions aren't likely to want to kill him, but others may and if they find out where he's been, it'll be easier to find where and when he is when you know where and when he is not.
