They should. So many teens are misinformed about sex and their parents are not teaching them. I
think teaching them would take the millions of ignore children who don’t know what will not cause
pregnancy and/or the obtaining std's and the myths that many of the children believe would help our
youth made better decisions. |

Sexual education is very important. So many students out there are not informed of the problems that
can arise from having unprotected sex or having multiple sex partners. I think if this class was
required, there would be a lot less teenage pregnancies and a lot less HIV being spread. It is
uninformed people that are making it worse for society. |

In all high schools sexual education should be given proper emphasis. There should be sufficient
classes held on this matter as nowadays teenage students are found to getting involved in sexual
matters much more than what they used to previously. As a result of lack of knowledge many of them
are even facing problems in later days. Thus if proper knowledge and education on sexual matters are
imparted on them then there will be a chance that these teenagers will get to know how to have safe
sex. There are many sexually transmitted diseases in teenagers as they were not that aware of the
use of condoms but with the help of proper sex education they will be able to understand the
importance of a condom and make a proper use of it. Students should be compelled to join these
classes in order to acquire knowledge. |

Absolutely. However, it needs to be a rational class, not just abstinence-only. I do think you need
to heavily weight it on consequences,Say that the best method of avoiding STDs and unwanted
pregnancy is to abstain, then show the consequences not abstaining. If you're going to engage in it,
even though you'd be an idiot to do so, here's how to minimize your chances of something really bad
happening. |

Yes, instead of just saying no to sex . Educate them on the hows, the safety and the risks. Not just
the risks. |

No.
The government should NOT go into the sex business.
Stay outta the kids heads, Big Bro ;-)
Everyone is the Boss of their Own body.
Nope.
Gotta disagree on this one. |

Even in the sixties, they had sex ed classes, recommending condoms, abstinence..... It never stopped
anything, you think kids are sexually now? Huh quess again. Even in the military, the soldiers are
shown films constantly, till their sick of them, and stds and venereal disease are still prevalent.
Sorry some other form of protection must be invented or it's abstinence. |

Since they aren't doing that well a job at teaching academics (and sentence structure) then I would
not trust them to do a good job at teaching sex ed either. |
