Of course it is good in theory. Only problem is that IT DOESN'T WORK IN REAL LIFE. |

Yes, in many countries the school systems tend to put a negative light on it, but it's not a bad
idea. The problem is that those ho have tried to instate it were mostly corrupt or treated the
masses badly, Carl. (Marx) |

Although, I find marxism in many ways attractive, because oppression and alienation certainly occur
in society. Look at the current economic upheaval and the rich getting richer and the poor getting
poorer. The reason it doesn't work is because it denies reality. The reality it denies like so
many other philosophies that say, "if only we did such and such or so and so, life would be so much
better, etc.; is the accurate definition of man. Man is fundamentally wonderful, deserves respect,
and has great goodness. But, man is also terribly fallen and does really wicked things. This
definition is true in any political-socio-economic system. It seems the wicked part becomes more
dominant as individuals gain power and influence, either with money or political power. So, when
the communist elite rule, they become just as any other leader with absolute power. |
