Colored People Pull The Race Card Too Much
Anywhere they can, they are using it as an excuse.

The race card is a cop-out as far as I am concerned. I have seen it used for the most ignorant purposes. It is a disgusting trend in America and should be stopped. My favorite race card players are Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Spike Lee. They play the deck like poker champs; hustlers and smooth talkers. But what upsets me is that people are forced to accept folks like them, because if you don't...well...then you must be racist. See? It is a vicious and troubling cycle, because their tactics trickle down to the common folk who in turn use the card as well.

I agree. I portray them as normal people and not anything else, but they like to talk about it a lot

Racist! (kidding) I actually can't pull the race card, cause I'm white. And you can't be racist to white people apparently!

There is certainly a degree of the race card being pulled, but it is normally by ignorant, or lazy, black people.

It does happen, it is very sad. My school friend used to say it all the time as a joke, much in the same way Ali G went on to use it as a joke. "Is it because I is black". When he was older he was very embarrassed about doing this.

I find this almost as bad as racism in itself.

I think society is to blame for this by making race such and issue, and by political correctness banding the term racist around so flippantly.

Although I most certainly do not agree with the fact that the creator of this topic chose to allow some black people’s actions to speak for the all of them (I’m assuming the term “colored people” refers to black people), I can’t say that I’ve never seen the incident described by this topic’s description used before. By the way, I normally refer to African-Americans as “black people” the same way I refer to Caucasians as “white people”. So, please do not try to pull the “Race Card” on me during this debate. If you find the term “black people” insulting, you probably get offended to easily and shouldn't even be entering a debate such as this.

Coloured people... Antiquated term used by idiots like Archie Bunker... Obama is not using any race card.. If this is the platform your drawing from... He is a moderate who sees both sides of the coin and makes clear judgements based on common sense... And intellect.... Yours on the other hand is lagging... Coloured... Which color...

What is is?
;-)

What is a coloured person, precisely?

I am a clear- person: Translucent skin, does that make me a coloured person?
;-)
Is not the colour "White" every colour mixed together on a colour-wheel?

That was what my teacher said in Art Theory 101 class years ago.......;-)

I submit to you that there is no such thing as "Coloured-people".

Blacks and others use the "race card" in equal proportion to racism against them.

If there weren't any bigotry and racism, people would stop claiming non-racist acts were racist.

I wouldn't say your "racist". It seems to me your unsure and don't want to come across wrong. But I disagree; ignorant Black people pull the card. All Black people aren't ignorant and sometimes the card needs to be pulled, I depending on the situation.
