College Athletes Should Not Get Paid.
It Does Not Make Sense For Colleges To Pay The Student-athletes To Participate In These Football Or Basketball Matches Because Student-athletes' College Educational Experience Should Be More Than Just Money. Instead Of Giving Handsome Salary, It Can Give Scholarship To Those Who Can't Continue School Without Financial Support.

I agree that college students shouldn’t be paid. A college student represents his institution and it is his responsibility to play with honesty and devotion. Many students find it the best way to earn money and leave the education behind. Sport is necessary but there should be schedule for playing sports and studying. In my opinion, a good player should be given scholarship and medals as an encouragement to be a wining athlete and a successful student.

They should get paid. They could use this money toward college tuition payments, if they don't already have scholarships.

Why shouldnt they get paid?
They probably work just as hard as some professional players. Maybe even harder.

I don't think they should get a pay check, but they should be allowed a stipend, capped by the NCAA. So yes, they should get money, just not a pay check.

College athletes should get paid but just not as much as professionals. Like NCAA football is easier than pros because they only have to get one foot in bounds

I am posing against thought of this topic because I do believe that college athletes give their strenuous effort to increase the respect of their college without any return. This should not be happened. This is quite inhumanly attitude to me. There are lots of money are produced from this college sports and who are the real creator of this money? The answer must be the college athletes themselves who deserve the money most. Though in return of their tedious work and efforts, they do not get any financial assistance from their institution, but they do their work silently and sincerely. I think this is exploitation of their ability and talent to the name of service and nothing else. This is true that they are having chance to get the education but what I feel that their talent & effort should be paid with some money too.

It gets the players motivated for later on in life like if there play basketball they could get called up to NBA where they pay the player millions of dollars and collage players don't even get payed that much so its not a big deal
