No way! Coldplay sucks! They are way too mellow and sleepy! I don't know how people can listen to
that stuff and still be paying attention at the end of the song.
They're okay, but not my favorite band. They are certainly not the best for music or lyrics! For
lyrics and music (random order):
1. Pink Floyd
2. Opeth
3. King Crimson
4. Ensiferum
5. I could go on for hours listing great bands, much better then Coldplay, but I don't have the
time.
I like Coldplay a lot. But they're not in any danger of being the best band.

All the modern "pop"/"new age"/"indie" is incomparable to the greats of Cream, Led Zepplin etc. Saying that, I'd prefer to listen to a different style all together, but Coldplay could never be as good as LZ.
