| Clinton Supporters Should Not Vote For McCain Based On Protest Against Obama |
| I understand why supporters of Sen. Hillary Clinton and strong proponents for women should be disappointed Sen. Barak Obama got the Democratic nomination instead of her, and even why they'll protest at the convention, but to stick it to their party by voting for McCain over Obama for President is petty, vindictive, and destructive. Every American has a right to run for office, they don't have to bow out just because Sen. Clinton wants to do it. Sen. Clinton threw as much mud if not more than was thrown at her. Sen. Obama won fairly. |

Thanks ur_wrong. The first point about vote for who you want I agree with, my goal was to persuade
their vote - not to negate their vote.
The 2nd about hating Obama means they must prefer McCain is falacious. It assumes there are only
two types of candidates and if you reject one you must like the other. There are infinite
variations in candidates and each should stand or fall on their own individual merits.
The 3rd comment about political parties being stupid I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH and in fact I've been
an independent most of my life. Again I choose based on individual candidates and not based on
their political machine alliance. |

People can vote for whoever they want for whatever reason they want. If you give someone a vote, you
have to accept that they can do whatever they want with it.
Besides, if you hate obama enough to vote against him in protest, then you obviously prefer mccain.
What better reason is there to vote for someone?
P.S. Political parties are a stupid idea. |
