Without a doubt classic rock is far better than today garbage |

Today's rock is at a serious disadvantage. One of the greatest things about rock was it's evolution.
Nobody did it like Elvis. Nobody did it like Chuck Berry. Nobody did it like the Beatles. Then the
Stones got dirty. Then Keith Moon hit the drums harder than anybody had. Then Zeppelin made an
album. Then Pink Floyd.
All the way through there were pioneers on vocals and the instruments. Music is the best when it is
the result of it asking and answering it's own questions and humans doing what the music wants them
to do.
During the rock evolution, this was a natural phenomenon because there was a vast frontier.
The frontier has been settled and resettled. The wilderness is scattered and difficult to find.
Today's rock is at a serious disadvantage and cannot come close.
Just like Slashes return to rock roots with his solo on Sweet Child (there was classic rock back
then lol), much of today's rock seems best when reaching back. |

I love classic rock. I love it because of the beat and the actual song.new rock is just to much deep
screaming and banging on drums. |

I love classic rock. Boston, Rolling Stones, Metallica (they were formed in the 80's), Megadeth
(same deal). |

Rock these days is a lot better than it ever was in the '70s or '80s. |

I will designate this side new rock. I enjoyed 90+ a lot more then I enjoyed the counter. Rock music
is the only area where I see improvements. |
