No way, i think that girls and boys should be in one class. Boys and girls need each other to learn form and for other stuff. If classes were divided than we would grow up say "girls have cooties" and "boys have cooties"; And if we grow up saying this kind of stuff than we won't learn have to interact with people of the opposite gender. Someday we will have to work with people of the opposite sex. Society its self isn't based upon one gender only, so why should classes be?
I do feel that there should be mixed gender classes.....just for the fact that you when you are
learning...you want to be around people you like....and the fact that not everyone gets along the
same...maybe there is that girl...who sits in the corner...because she not pretty enough...and the
other girls tease her....but all of her friends are boys....i know if i was her i would want my
classes to be mixed
I think that there would be less distractions in schools if some classes were divided by gender.
Math, History, English and Science should be divided this way so that girls aren't trying to impress
guys and guys aren't trying to impress girls. But at the same time mixed gender is a good thing.
well some distraction won't go away if some1 waz homosexual. and it will incourage ppl to b homosexual if they grow up thinking that the opposite gender has "cooties and germs".
The only class that I might agree to that with is physical education, but I see no benefit in
segregating the gender. It could cause confusion and problems with relationships in later life. It
also increases the chance of socialising so people are more inclined to put across their viewpoint.
There would be an amazing number of flaws in class division.
To begin with, do you remember the days of the segregation of blacks and whites? Do you remember the
pain it caused both sides? Can't you still see the scars it has left in society?
Also, the only way for genders to stop bullying each other is with positive contact. This was proven
by several renowned social psychologists including Robert B. Cialdini. Thus, with separation this
dilemma will never be solved. This is where the jigsaw classroom (a unique program where students
rely on others for their benefits forcing them to cooperate) comes in.
Moreover, how will we be able to make this change in a developed nation. It will not be easy simply
separating the sexes; there would be many protests from students, activists and parents.
Lastly, how will juveniles mature and be able to succeed in life without being in a real-life world
where genders are together.
Hell no classes should be divided by gender! If classes were divided by gender than we won't like
the people of the opposite gender and if that happens than have will the world exceed? Plus, if
classes were divided by gender than that just encourages boys to be gay and girls to be lesbians.
