| Citizens Should Be Able To Issue Citations To Peace Officers |
| The people need to be institute some system, with government, wherein citizens can document breaches of the law (i.e., via photo, audio, paper, video, etc.) by peace officers and even issue some type of citation to them, while filing a report, requiring follow-up, with a government agency. For instance, when a police officer uses his siren to get through traffic so he can speed to a Winchell's, he should get a citation with his doughnut and coffee. What say you all? |

Not for using his siren to get through a red light, no. Gotta be SOME perks to the job, or why be a
cop, right?....;-)
but, what you are saying in theory, for some much more serious thing, like, issuing a citation to
someone based upon race or creed, yes. If an officer gives an inordinate number of citations to say,
the black community, then yes, then he SHOULD be investigated for prejudicial bias on the job. |

The people would abuse that power way more than cops do. |
