Christianity Is Unique And True In A World Full Of Other Religious Options

Christians should stand up and proclaim the supremacy of Christ. We certainly should not discriminate against anyone on the basis of race or religion. Not ever. We should, in fact, defend the right of people to embrace any religion they choose. But it’s a huge leap from recognizing this to saying all the concepts and doctrines of one person’s religion are as true as any other. That’s the deceptive LIE of religious pluralism.

Most religions that the world offers are mostly idols. What can a piece of stone (no offense) do for you? Personally as Christian, I would choose God and the Bible.

It's the only religion where God saves the people and gives them salvation. All the others you have to work your butt off to get somewhere. But religion implies a certain ritualistic sense... I mean, a daily carnal way to show for something spiritual. I just pray for the harmony between my mind, body, spirit, and heart and to bring the desires of my heart into captivity/harmony with God. It mellows me out and I really soften up to people. Other than that, I snap like whips and can get really pushy. Christianity is my way to go. Satisfy my supernatural. Satisfy my carnal. Overshadowed by something other than my pride to carry me along. 'tis great.

As a Christian, I believe that ultimately all religions are an attempt to reach God, no matter what the adherents of other religions call God. Yes, Christianity is unique and true, but so are other religions that exemplify goodness to others and belief in a higher being. If these religions were not unique, they would be the same religion.

I put my answer on this side because not every Christian is a pluralist.

If absolute truth is up for grabs, any one religion is just as good as another. Shop around until you find one you like, or ignore all of them flat-out. It makes no difference. It’s all up to you.

This is such an arrogant and ignorant debate. Every religion says this and believes it and none of them can be validated. To claim one religion is superior to all others (despite your claim about no discrimination towards people or other faiths or no faith) is supremely arrogant and rather stupid. I find it so funny that you big up the great religion of christianity but if you had been born in Iran you would probably be saying the exact same thing about Islam. I am so glad I'm an atheist.

Christianity is a joke, it's an excuse for believing in an invisible magic man in the sky and is functionally no better than believing in unicorns or Santa Claus. Certainly people have a right to believe whatever they wish, but that doesn't obligate anyone to make them feel good about it when they choose to believe absurd things.

You simply must have some explanation for why there is something instead of nothing. Matter is not eternal. Things have causes. No scientist alive has ever witnessed matter coming from non-matter. This is a material universe. How did it get here?

This has never been explained and the greatest minds and most prolific authors expounding evolution - including Richard Dawkins - admit they have no explanation for the origin of either matter or life.

Given that physical life exists, quite literally, on the knife edge of required conditions to sustain it, the odds of a chance world coming into existence that prohibited life are much greater than the odds of a chance world promoting life

Yet here we are. We live in world where life can exist and even flourish.

Think for a minute of a marble table in front of you. Hilter was not a Catholic.  Going to a Catholic school doesn't make you a Catholic.  He did not advocate for Catholicism...not were will you find were Catholicism says genocide and racism is acceptable.  You say he followed Martin Luther and Catholism, but Martin Luther disagreed with Catholism on so many points, the Protestant movement started. Hilter followed neither...he followed Darwin.
Hitler's goal was the "purification" of the "Aryan race" through the elimination of "subhumans", which included Jews, gypsies, Asians, black Africans, and everyone else who was not a white Aryan.  Hitler based his ideas on the superiority of the Aryan race on the theory of evolution. When writing his book, Mein Kampf (My Struggle), he was even inspired by the Darwinist concept of struggle for life. In the posters used in the war years for Nazi propaganda, the Nazis used to designate the human races other than the Aryan race as "De Beestmensch" (The Beast men). It was "Darwinism" that provided the "scientific" grounds for defining human beings as "the beast men".

Karl Marx, the founder of communism, was an atheist who was extremely antagonistic towards religion. Because the theory of evolution deniedthe existence of God, Marx ardently defended this theory. He had such a big fondness for Darwin that he even dedicated his book, Das Kapital, to Darwin and included a handwritten statement "To Darwin, from a true admirer of him, Karl Marx" in the German edition of the book. Marx thought that the theory of evolution was the materialists’ biggest weapon in their war against religion.

The theory of evolution and racism are closely related. The ideology of evolution considers man only as a "species". According to evolution, the inferiority of some races in comparison to other races is very natural. In 1904, an African native named "Ota Benga" was identified as "a primitive species affirming the theory of evolution" and was exhibited in a cage along with apes. In the same manner, the founders of America, who regarded Indians as an "inferior race closer to animals", did not refrain from "hunting" them like animals.

Unique? Most middle eastern religions use the same "plot" for the storyline of their religious text and use the same techniques to instill their religious dogma into the gullible minds of their society. Most religions have countless things in common.

No. The story of Jesus Christ interpreted as enabling each and every individual to know the assurance of eternal salvation right now is not offered up anywhere or through anything that I know of.

Comparing it to any other religious concept I know of it is one of the biggest if not the biggest difference in the universe.

Granted, nobody seems to know that is what true Christianity is and it gets lost in goofy debates between people who don’t know what they are talking about (mainly because religions that claim to be Christian aren’t). There I said it. They aren’t. The secular world that doesn’t believe in Christianity uses religions that claim to be Christian as the measure of Christianity. Can’t blame them, screwed up religions make easy targets and allow for easy debunking of everything associated with them for those who have lazy minds.

Using the word "christianity" is simply too silly at this point in time. The word has been used to kill way to many people in the name of God.

And what exactly do you mean by supremacy? That's a strange word to apply to Christ.

And the entire notion of defending people's right to embrace any religion they choose while insisting that christianity is unique and true and Christ is supreme is comical.

(Christ alone) is qualified to effect reconciliation of a fallen universe to God
God declares a sinful man to be righteous because of (Christ alone)
Through the redemptive work of (Christ alone) God sends away the sin to never be seen again, in which case the debt is forgiven.

readi the Bible...start with the new testament. You say women are treated as second class citizens, yet women in this country, the most Christian of all countries, are the most free and powerful. You say no human rights, but this country, the most Christian of all countries, has the most human rights. Yes, Israel (a country yet again as prophesied over 2000 yrs ago) is God's chosen people, but he gives no favortism. All will be judged according to their deeds, regardless of "tribes".
