Not really, with all due respect, it's a great thing if Christians are OCD about music because they
think all the other music is devil worshiping, but it's really not cool. Lame is what category I
would put it under.
Some Christian rock is fine but for every one song I'd call cool there are 20 others which are just
self indulgent tripe. The hardest part isn't necessarily the music itself, it's the lyrics dripping
with more sap than a maple farm.
Probably my favorite spoof on Christian rock was on South Park when Cartman formed a Christian rock
band and performed basically normal rock songs about sex with women but substituted a few key words
so it actually sounded borderline inappropriate about Jesus but still somehow worked. Brilliant.
Christian music can be good. And just is wow sometimes we you eat the message conveyed. That is
Christian music. But Christian rock? As in Wannabe cool hardcore bs rock? No. Fakers are not
allowed.
