Although it CAN be bad it is not inherently bad. Let's look at each of your claims:
1) Bad for health: No, actually dark chocolate contains a large amount of flavonoids and
antioxidants which cause your arteries to relax thus promoting vascular health. Small consumption
of dark chocolate is quite good for you. Of course large quantities of cheap milk chocolate are
indeed bad for you. It all comes down to which kind of chocolate you eat and how much of it.
2) Bad for Environment: Not necessarily. Chocolate grows in pods on the trunks of trees. Yes it
can be farmed, but you can choose to farm either responsibly or irresponsibly. And the tree doesn't
have to be destroyed to harvest the chocolate.
