China is probably the fastest growing economy and also one of the biggest, if not the biggest,
manufacturer in the world. The gulf between rich and poor now mirrors that of the west, if not more
so. They have shown that a capitalist economy doesn’t need to be run by a democratic government. |

Lets start with facts.
1) The Communist Party of China has been the ruling 'party' in government since 1949.
2) There is a Central Committee that determines the course of the economy (read: Planned
economy).
3) Their government ideology is that the laws and decisions are created from the "people's
concentrated will," code for whatever the Communist Party declares is in the State's best
interest.
4) The goal of the Communist Party of China is to work toward the establishment of a true Communist
country.
I would suggest that if it looks like a Communist country, sounds like a Communist country, and says
it is a Communist country, who are you to argue that it is not a Communist country? |

We have this debate all the time, perhaps china is becoming capitalist, but couldn't you claim the
fact that they are moving towards capitalism as opposed to remaining communist shows that communism
is un workable in reality, free market seems the natural approach, And yes most of the western
countries are capitalist democracy's despite what your opinion of USA is rob they are elected and
the free market reigns... Simple |

I am going to diagree, merly because i feel padantic, and it really annoys me that you think the
idea of having to pay for healthcare makes it capatilst or communist. Not all countries can have
the NHS. |

I don't really think we need to call China a communist state to discredit communism. We already have
Stalin. |
