Indeed. Especially a student's fridge. Cheese is so versatile that it can be used in anything like toasties, maccaroni cheese, sheperds pie, lasagne, spag bol etc. CHEESE IS AWESOME!!!

It is a good working class cheese, goes well in a pastry, sandwich or on its own.
Unlike the pretentious (spelt wrong probably) mouldy french cheeses, which the middle class often eat.

I like cheddar. Then, in this order, comes Jarlesburg swiss, gruyere, Lancashire, and brie. Jack cheese is way too mild for me.
