Chardonnay Is An Over-rated White Wine
Not that chardonnay white wine is bad (it can be bad, it can also be great), but I'm saying the characteristics sought via this grape can be found in some combination through many many many other white wine grapes. How did so much of the world simply turn to chardonnay? It's not like it scores a 10 while the closest competitors are 7's, instead it in fact has many contestants for the top of the white wine food chain. Its ubiquitous presence far exceeds its actual merits.

What do you expect from spoiled grapes? The only reason to drink wine is if you’re too poor to afford decent whisky. Personally I like the Irish kind, preferable Redbreast.

I agree, I hate that stuff, its bland and its lacking a unique taste a wine should have. I don't know what grade it was, but it wasn't good, why drink something such as that ?

 OK, I respect tea, but then if tea is better than Chardonnay then you should have posted on the agreement side because the topic says Chardonnay is over-rated.
