Challenging A Religious View Is Not The Same As Rejecting God
Often when people question a religious stand on this site people respond with pity or piety. Asking a tough question, rejecting a church doctrine, challenging a belief, or defending science do NOT mean the critic is an atheist, unspiritual, sinful, or any less religious than the defenders. Jesus Christ himself spent a lot of time challenging the dominant Jewish church of his day. Luther challenged the Catholic church's ways but was no less religious. And if you truly are secure in your religious views than why be stymied or offended by those who challenge?

Brilliantly and learnedly put grenache which i could be that blunt instead in my debates i have to link that to nakedness and some people have a hard time in unraveling such an analogy this is my biggest point, criticism is a complete neccesity in life, if we don't leave ourselves open to criticism how can we prove something to be true... We can't religion isn't being aloud to be proven true which is a big issue which theists of a fanatical sort need to see...

It doesn’t have to be.

The point of this site is to raise questions so we can honestly seek the truth. Many people of all belief systems respond to questioning as if it is criticism. I disagree with that reaction. But that does not mean all challenges are made in the spirit of truth seeking either. On here, often those challenges are an attempt to create strife and are motivated by anger and hatred.

That's a fair point, some of the posts on this site are indeed meant more to cause strife or shock than to genuinely seek truth.

Rejection happens after you've already stopped questioning and made your decision.

Most religions are not completely true, so yeah.
