This is a very right statement which is mainly suitable for child actors and other celebrities who
has achieved something during their teen age. Basically it often happened that children or teenagers
who has come to the spotlight due to any reason has often gone out of control and could not maintain
their limit at a budding age. As a consequence they have ended up doing something which is not
expected out of them and helplessly they have spoilt their career. They have engaged themselves into
drugs and other addictions. They have not made the proper use of their time and age and finally they
have not achieved that in life what they could have achieved, if have taken things seriously and
properly. The show business is definitely good but to understand the show business one needs to grow
up. |

I would actually argue that most people should not consider entering show business at all. Although
children are often less able to deal with the problems and stress that come with "celebrity" status
in western countries, many adults find it pretty hard to manage as well. Just look at people like
Britney Spears and the late Anna Nicole Smith; in some ways, both made a fortune from their
celebrity status, they were able to live an incredibly glamorous lifestyle because of it, but it
probably also led to their downfall in the end.
Actors, singers and others in the entertainment industry who have risen to celebrity status have
often fallen into the trap of believing their own hype and many have been unable to deal with the
pressure associated with a lack of privacy and constant media attention. I think that if one were to
interview the more sober, level-headed of these people, they would probably say (at least off the
record) how much they long for more privacy and a return to their old life. |

Celebrities should be kept out of the limelight at a young age. Placing too much on someone so young
is likely to force them to turn to alcohol and drugs because they cannot cope with the pressures of
fame.
We only have to look at celebrities such as Britney Spears to see how badly fame has affected them.
Celebrities such as this were once admired by thousands of young fans all over the world. Now all we
see is pictures of young celebrities partying, drinking alcohol and taking drugs. What kind of
example is this setting?
We should not be seeing things like this in the papers everyday. Celebrities like these need to sort
their lives out and remain from the public eye until they have done so, not just for their own sake
but for the sake of their young fans.
No child should be forced into the public eye at an early age. Teenagers are vunerable and less
likely to cope with the pressures that fame brings than an adult. This results in them turning to
alcohol and drugs and they become a bad influence.
Some people may not pay attention to celebrities, but it saddens me to see the lack of privacy that
they have. No young person will be able to deal with the papparazzi and they end up becoming bad
role models because they cannot cope.
So, they should be kept out of the public eye until they are old enough to deal with the pressure.
Perhaps then we will see less and less young celebrities ruining their careers and their younger
fans will be able to have a proper role model. |

Well, this means we will only be looking at boring old people:) Parents should have better control
of their child stars to keep them grounded |

So when there's a movie about a child...the director has to find and adult to play a child?
Children actor and actresses are great, in shows that even young people can become very successful. |

So, if there were no child actors, all of our TV show and Movies would be childless. They would
only be stories about adults. No, Harry Potter movies, no Brady Bunch, no Little House on the
Prairie, no Enchanted, no Sesame street.
I think kids are needed in the entertainment industry. I agree, it is the parenting that is the
problem.
Also, I think there are an awful lot of actors that were not child actors who have issues as well. |

The reason why child celebrities often become twisted is not because of age. It is because of bad
parenting or a lack of the understanding of morality.
It is true, age does not bring wisdom. There are plenty of old people that are ignoramiouses with
silly ideas. However, there are many wise aged people in the world. Experience can bring
wisdom.
By having a strong family unit, proper parenting based on correct principles, and choosing friends
with the same values young people can be moral celebrities.
Wisdom is one of the fruits of great parenting. |

Fame affects everyone badly. Look at Tom Cruise. While I would say that no one should be FORCED
into the public eye, if they want to be there and they have a talent for whatever they're doing,
then they shouldn't be stopped from doing so. Being older isn't going to make you more stable,
there aren't many stable people in Hollywood regardless of age. |
