Certainly, there are plenty of kind loving people turned out by Catholicism. And frankly the same could be said about most religions.

 my particular appreciation of Catholicism is very slim on good points but those are pretty good points:

1. confessional,
2. pro-life,
3. pro-marriage,
4. good works like feeding of the poor.

other than that, I part company with Catholicism.
I am a Protestant LOL :-D actually.

but yeah. anyone who has any moral convictions whatever and sticks by them it is admirable for sure. I agree about that.

It kept Latin alive, it led to great artistic work (despite some being idol-like), and that's about all I can think of that's good about it.
