Carpooling to work would help the environment and stick it to these gas prices that are rising by
the day. If only everyone had the same schedule. Lots of people have children, including me. There
aren't too many people that would want to join along on the trip of dropping kids off at preschool
and school every morning before work and picking them up afterwards, but the idea itself is a very
good one. It would save tons of money for a lot of people and the effects on the environment would
then be lessened. |

Carpooling to work will have a significant impact on the environment and besides this one major
advantage there are other advantages attached to the idea as well. Carpooling to work will reduce
the fuel expense for all the participants and they will be able to avoid the stress of driving
through the office end crowd twice a day. Also, carpooling will result into less traffic blocks and
parking problems at the start and end of office hours. |

Yes people should because it will cut down on the smoke and the fumes destroying our o-zone layer
and the amount of green house gasses which causes the arrival of global warming to hurry and even
though rmc031 has a good point at the beginning say our problem is far beyond that I also disagree

Yes, if it is feasible. I'm against any kind of regulation to carpool, there are a lot of people
for whom carpooling simply isn't an option, but if you can, sure, why not? |

I mean..people should definitely do their part to help the environment so by all means carpool if
you can. But our problem is so far beyond that now to say we 'should'. I think the real solution is
to buy energy efficient cars and keep researching ways to reduce costs of hybrids and other vehicles
that support the enviorment. We have to think bigger in my opinion. Bigger more drastic changes I
think need to take place. I don't want to be in a position where I am potentially killing the earth
slower..I want to save it. |
