I don't care for Carol Thatcher one bit but I see the underlying point here and agree with Hidel.
Let's just all calm down a little and stop getting so shocked and trying to out liberal one
another.
What did she say and to whom and in what context? So it was a bit racist, so she is a bit of a posh
idiot, I forgive her. It wasn't even on air and it's not as if she went into some hate filled
racist rant.
Hidel is dead right and I would like to hear why those on the other side think he is wrong when he
says that everyone would be out of a job if they got sacked for saying something out of place that
could be considered racist in a private conversation. Also if we are to use the same standards that
this case sets name me one comedian that would still be on the BBC. Remember they can not have ever
said anything negative about any nation or race. Certainly not that unfunny cow Joe Brand that
offends so many but BBC keeps employing that was probably the one who instigated this. |
