I think that would be a good idea. Most of Britain has been blighted by the domination of London. Or
when Scotland eventually dissolves the UK and becomes and independent state, some parts of northern
England might want to join in to create a north British state. Better to be run from Edinburgh than
London. |

Parliament is in London, the queens residence is in London, the countries largest financial center
is in London, its the countries most culturally diverse city, and so the capital of Britain is
London.
Manchester is as bad as London in terms of cleanliness, pollution and crime, Manchester is further
from the largest airports and seaports - so on and so forth. There would be no advantages of having
Manchester as the capital. |
