Before I read the explanation I thought it must be tied to the fact that they are always being asked
if they are American. So they have a good enough reason to display the fact they are not.
The Brits must be a close second. Not because the might get mixed up with someone else though. |

That's because, in groups, we're better than Americans. We don't want to be mistaken for them
because not a lot of people like them. For example, I'm living in Germany because of the Military,
and Friends of ours went out for supper. When their food came, the subject came up that they were
Canadian and not American, the Waiter took their food away and brought back different food. I don't
want to know what to know what was wrong with the other stuff. |

a vast majority of sports supporters wear their countries strips. |
