"God" is the easiest way to answer any question. It also requires the least amount of thought.
That would be like if I said, "my great Grandpa says its wrong so it must be."

In a perfect world, no one would have a problem with anybody else's beliefs; but sadly, people will
always try to use their beliefs to regulate other people's actions. |

It is lazy to use religion as a reason that something is wrong. |

Yes I agree. An argument should be supported with reason and evidence and stand on it's own feet
regardless of whatever esoteric ethical or religious motivation the person has. And I'm not asking
the religious to prove the intangible - this isn't about shaking their blind faith in God. It's
about how questions of public policy in free countries need to have reason and evidence to back them
up, not simply "because my religion says so then everyone else must comply with my religion". |

While yes, most religions teach good manners and virtue, but people misunderstand those.
What's wrong with homosexuals?
They're people just like you or me. |

Well then based on NATURE, Homosexuality is Wrong.
Animals, mammals, birds, fishes trees, plants all living things (Except Humans) are
heterosexuals.
Only in human beings do you find Homosexuality.
It doesn't follow the natural pattern of evolution and biology. |

From my religious perspective, Homosexuality is wrong...in many ways. However, I..ME...am not going
to hit you upside the head and demand you accept my convictions. On the other hand, I would like
people to stop using their secular "reasoning" to accuse me of being intolerant for having such a
conviction. This is normally a tactic used in debate to attack my beliefs.
I understand where you are coming from, however, encountering peoples personal convictions and
beliefs is something we will all face in discussions/debates. To be honest with you, not many
people know HOW to properly debate. This forum is my witness to that. Some know and most don't.
Like I said, I understand where you are coming from, but I have to vote against this one because
beliefs are unavoidable. By creating this "debate" you yourself shared your personal conviction
(belief) with us. So, are we to down our own beliefs in favor of yours? See what I am saying?
Beliefs are unavoidable. |

I am not against this opinion
I also don’t like people who take the religion as a reason for giving orders and judges
But I think that most religions teaches virtues and good manners, and that explain why people listen
to religious people when they give you advices
And the reason why I vote against is that we have to respect the religious view even if it was
against our desires or unexplainable
About “Homosexuals” common,, you don’t need any religious conviction to make it wrong.. |
