Nobody On This Site Can Stay Focused Enough To Have A Real Debate
The evidence says no! Sad. I was so charged when I first found this site but it's fast becoming a bore!

I think that people who don't like this site should just leave instead of sticking around long enough to start debates stating how Bored they are...

Your living proof that this isn't possible. You've been on this site what, 4 days and your already bored. In my opinion you might be another debater in disguise, and this topic is evidence of such. No one would state this topic after only 4 days of using this site, so your either very foolish and impulsivly judgmental, or your another user in disguise. Which is it?

I totally agree. There is nothing fun on this site anymore. Its all repeats and dumb topics like "spaghetti is better than ravioli" this site is a waste

 Thank you for your affirmation of my observation. Though I will admit I don't mind debating the mundane as long as it is done tongue in cheek and draws out wit from those responding.

One tends to find one’s own level in a format like this. I for one have had many interesting discussions, debates, and general philosophical melees. Like most things in life if you want to get much out of a site like this you have to contribute. You’ll pardon me if I am less than overwhelmed with remorse that your pony ride hasn’t been up to par, but frankly you haven’t brought much to the table so far so… you get what you pay for kid.

Seems to me you started a debate regarding abortion. Seems to me you were faced with debate from at least 3 people. Seems to me you skipped out of the debate. Seems to me you may lack the focus required to have a real debate.

Why are you debating against stupid debates when this in itself is a stupid debate? Anyway, if you don't like any of the debates posted, then why don't you start an interesting debate?

 I have started a few debates I felt were intersting and valid but the response was very limited. This is the most response I have gotten on any one debate. I am happy to say I started in hopes it would energize minds and keyboards and it seems to have worked a little.

 Expectations around here seem to be so low they are impassable, like a limbo bar an inch off the ground, all you can do is rise above it, but there's absolutely no challenge in it.

I can.;-)) You obviously don't see all the debates.Trouble is they disappear so quickly because of all the lame posting that goes on.
There are too many trivial topics posted that is true and there are a lot of repeats, I keep repeating myself saying so.

 Maybe contributors should have a limit of say 4 debates they can keep open on the site. When they decide there is not enough interest or that it is all debated out they can close one and then start a new one, but not before. This would help keep people focused.
