I agree that COD 4 is the best ever first person, people who say Halo is just don't know what a good
first person shooter game is. I mean come on Halo is just shoot 2 bullets then melee, WOW that is so
bad.... COD 4 it is very hard to get bored of it i mean you have more choices to pka such as
headquarters, search team deathmatch etc.. Halo just has team slayer or free for all i mean come on
that's bad. |

It's the best that I have played, so I'm voting yes.
People complain about camping, but once the camper gets you once, you can easily take him out,
knowing where he is.
And knifing is just so fun. I literally killed the entire other team by just running into a building
and knifing snipers.
The sniping is also well done, unlike in Halo, where only a headshot will one-shot people.
Claymores are also well balanced, because the *click* gives you just enough warning to back up, and
you can run past them if you're fast enough, but they'll still get you once in a while.
It was probably better than WaW, but both are great games. |

I've personally always been a fan of FPS, Therefore I consider myself to know a considerable amount
about which are best, I've played a lot of them, And to be honest I would agree that Call of Duty 4
is the best first person shooter, But still by saying 'Best' What exactly do you mean? Best as in
most customisable? Most funnest? There are a lot of aspects you can look at, But in general Cod4 is
very highly ranked in my books. |

I am a huge fan of CoD2 and 4. I think these games both put Halo 3 to shame with ease. I can't

Video games are no more possessions of young kids, nowadays it has become a real obsession for them
and even for the adults also. Technology has moved ahead and all the new games, though being virtual
has turned so real that people often start relating themselves with it and feel that they are a part
of it and not only that even when they are not playing they think of the strategies that are there
in the game. One such wonderful game is “Call Of Duty 4”. Most people who have played the game
have fallen in love with the excitement and adventure that the game comes with. Thus it can be said
that really this game has overshadowed every other game of its type. It is really praiseworthy as
its all new features have thrilled the players so a lot. |

Call of Duty 4 is revolutionary. It's hilarious quick compared to other games and makes games like
Rainbow Six Vegas, Stranglehold and Battlefield 2 seem like they are in SLOMODE.
Even Halo 3 when it came out just did not have the same level of detail, the online playability and
the quality of graphics and gameplay to match this game.
Online is where it really goes for it. There's so much choice, the maps are a decent size, although
the smaller ones can be a bit frustrating at times. COD4 has so many weapons to choose from and
being able design your own loadouts of weapons and perks is really special, different and
importantly makes the game feel customised to you and your personal needs. Where Rainbow Six had
some level of custom play, I haven't even put it in the machine since Call of Duty 4 came out and I
played Rainbow Six Vegas for almost an entire year, GRAW 2 came and went, but R6V was king, now I'm
afraid, it's back down the road to pauperville because Call of Duty have outdone themselves. It's
simply unlike any other Call of Duty, because of the speed and flexibility of in-game movement. You
don't feel like a cardboard cut out any more. The in game videos are amazing, it's clearly the best
first person shooter game so far.. Whether it's ever, I'll not be able to tell you for a while.
The playability online in terms of the rank is crazy. Already people have completed the game and
they must have lived on the game and nothing else. You have to rank up to 55 in the game once, then
you can swap that in ten more times for a special badge. Come on! That's 550 ranks, that's just so
playable. Can you get bored? Sure, that's why they invented racing games.
Looking forward to R6V2 and Army of Two... But let's face it, Call of Duty 4 is the killer at the
moment. |
