Caffiene Tablets Help You Stay Awake In Class.
My friends and I have recently taken to using caffiene tablets in class as we often get very tired in the afternoon. Are there any side-effects or dangers that come with the use of caffiene tablets? (Pro Plus).

Caffeine pills are actually not that bad for you. I have taken them quite a bit. It is equivalent to a cup of coffee without burning your ongue or staining your teeth. The thing with getting tired in the afternoon is that you have to take these caffeine pills at least once every 4 hours. If you do not, you will start feeling tired and drained. It is the same with any caffeines beverage. It does not last all day. The only side effects are the same as their would be for coffee, accelerated heart rate.

I don't know whether I'm on commenting on the right side, but caffeine pills are very bad for your heart, as are energy drinks.

This debate is stupid, because there is an actual scientific answer - yes, they do help you stay awake. However if we are talking about whether people should use them then i think no, because of their negative effects on the body; as they dehydrate and raise your heartbeat. It is better to go to bed earlier, drink plenty of fluids and then there is little need for supplements to keep you awake.

Yep, they're pretty good, I used them during my exams and the revision beforehand.

But it's prevention, not cure. Why are you so tired in the first place that you feel you need to take pills to stay awake?
