I agree--it seems as though much of the US media (and not only CNN) is biased in this regard and
seems to have a somewhat strange and childish fascination with Barack Obama. The problem is that the
media is interested in Obama for all the wrong reasons, namely for his race and arguably inspiring
life story. His policies and lack of political experience are barely examined, because news anchors
and commentators are caught up with the possibility that the US may elect its first black president,
something that apparently trumps electing the first woman to the highest office when it comes to
"making history." Most journalists also fail to shed light on the nutty church that he belongs to.
I think media personalities should all get a grip and stop salivating over Obama. It's high time
that commentators and journalists return to being critical about all politicians and aspiring
leaders. |

Obama has run a clean campaign and compared to what Hillary has done, it looks like the press is
sugar-coating. But what appears to be "salivating" is actually a very inspiring candidate with a
long record of good legislation in Illinois and public service. |
