Oh my God. It's a comedy movie! It's supposed to seem offensive and portray negative stereotypes.
That's why its funny. If it didn't, it would just be another boring movie. |

Erm... Well actually, I found Bruno very funny. And it's not enforcing stereotypes! Or do you
believe that to be gay is to walk around half-naked all the time and screw your personal assistant?
You're reading far too much into it. |

A group will never achieve equality unless you can safely crack jokes about them. |

Its just a stupid movie. If u took offense to it then u need to learn to laugh is what i think. Ppl

Bruno is the epitome of every 'Gays' goal! No wonder you 'GAYS' who are trying to take over the
world knock him, he's shown you up for what you are: ''GAY!'' |

No. Cohen and other idiots like him (Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey Dane Cook, etc.) are an
insult to the intelligence.
I grew up on smart comedy - Bill Cosby, Wayne & Shuster, Monty Python, George Carlin, etc. - and
have neither the time nor interest in low-brow nonsense. If you want funny, go rent "A Fish Called
Wanda" or "Life Of Brian". |

Did you not see Borat? Bruno is poking fun at how idiotic people are and judgemental they are.
Personally I find it hilarious, as I did Borat. |

Well I think that was the point of the movie--to be offensive, sort of like the theatrical version
of Eminem...except I actually liked 8-Mile. Anyway, getting back to the Bruno movie, I thought it
was somewhat entertaining although I was slightly inebriated, which could have helped my view of the
movie a tad.
I'm with LordDaniel on this one; Cohen is a showman, simple as that. If you don't like his stuff,
then don't watch it. The simple fact that Cohen has his worst critics watching his movies just to
get a shot in at him means he's doing something right. |

Sacha Baron Cohen has already been threatened by Palestinian terrorists over this film. And, what,
now the gay community are having a go at him? How can you possibly knock the man kddan, do you think
you could play the flamboyant Austrian homosexual character any better?
Cohen's a showman, one of the greats, you either love him or hate him, but you will not find any
better in the world...;-) |
