| Blood In The Urine Is Always Abnormal And Dangerous Problem Whether It Is Gross Or Microscopic Blood In The Urine It Always Means Malignant Cancer Of The Urinary Tract. |
| I've had chronic microscopic hematuria for five or six years now and i still have it today I've had an ivp x-ray on my kidneys and bladder in 2003 and the urologist said the x-rays were normal back then in 2003 i haven't had an ivp x-ray on my kidneys and bladder since 2003 and I'm really scared and nervous about the microscopic hematuria [blood in my urine] that I've had for along time ,I'm really scared and nervous that this microscopic blood in my urine might turn to bladder cancer. |

This is hardly a debate, but I agree: It's a bad sign and if I ever had it I'd go straight to
hospital. |

I'm not medically trained, but I'm certain blood in the urine can mean many things besides cancer
(STDs for example). But you should get that checked out by professionals ASAP. I know I wouldn't
want blood in my urine either. |

Blood in the urine does not mean you have cancer. It could be sign of cancer, but cancer in the
urinary tract will be marked by various symptoms and continuous bleeding. Many times, microscopic
hematuria is a sign of nephrolithysis (Kidney stones). If you pass the stone, the blood will
disappear. However, if stone returns, then you will get the hematuria again. You really should go
see a Urologist as soon as possible. (even if the blood disappears). Do not ignore this. You could
have a condition that could be fatal. The urinary system is designed to eliminate toxins from your
body, so if you are having a problem, you need to get to a doctor ASAP.
You can go to www.webmd.com for information on nephrolithyasis, however, this site is only
informational. It is not designed to give you a definite diagnosis. Only a doctor can give a
diagnosis. You can also check out www.livestrong.com for information articles on urinary conditions. |

I have two piece of advice:
1. Go and get it checked out by a professional. Now.
2. Reject any other advise you get here. People on the Internet you don't know are not the place to
get medical advice. |
