I had a black cat for 3 years and nothing bad happened

Course their not. Have had a beautiful black cat for 6 years. Nothing bad has happened yet.

Although I am somewhat superstitious the only reason black cats are thought to be bad luck because people use to think that black cats were witches in disguise. Edgar Allen Poe does a good job at making people scared of black cats in one of his stories.

Definately not. It's just an old-fashioned superstition with no proof of it been true. It was created back in the times people with warts were hung for been witches.

Of course they aren't, its just stupid superstition. I have a black cat and he's never caused me to have bad luck.

Luck has nothing to do with it. Black cats are just evil. They intentionally ruin your life. People only chalk it up to luck because they are in denial of their cat's evil ways.

Yours must have been broken.

Of course. In fact all cats are good luck. The color means nothing.

Ironically the black cat phobia started back around the time of the black plague and many people would kill cats back then. If the cats had been left to live and run around they would have helped control the rats and mice, and those rodents were the true source of the black plague.

All cats are bad luck if your sister-in-law drops one off at your house and your wife keeps it...and then it starts to take dumps in the bed of your truck.

I don't like cats.

They are if one tries to kill you. Pure evil I tell you. Except when they are kittens then they are really cute, but after that, pure evil.
