It depends. Birthdays are good to celebrate with the family when you are younger, but as you get
older you may wish to celebrate with friends, or maybe not even really celebrate at all if you don't
like the idea of getting older! It is good to have some celebration though and can be fun depending
on the type of family and what suits a particular person. |

Depends on the family. If they're close then it's a wonderful day to celebrate and have fun. If not,
it's still fun, but doesn't have the same values, it's just another day for cooperation to make
money. |

A celebration of one's life is a wonderful and important thing. Not sure how it benefits the
family, but its important for an individual to celebrate their life. |

What's there to celebrate on a birth day,' oh my gosh today is when i came out to the world!!!'
please..be reasonable...be thankful to god that he has allowed you to live one more year in this
world instead. |

Depends.
A lot of the time, it's not really even to celebrate family or being alive another day, it's just
about going all out
Spending a ton of money, collecting as much presents as you can which come out of the family's
checkbook.
That's why family tight on money skip many "big celebration" parties.
It isn't all that great for the family especially with more than one kid |
