Being In Love With Someone Who Doesn't Know Is Unhealthy
I think if you are in love with someone you have known for a really long time, you should tell them how you feel bc maybe they feel the same. And if the friendship is strong enough then no matter what the response at least you will know

I don't think it's unhealthy...

Also, If you think you're in love it would be best to speak-up. Otherwise you will always wonder "What If..."
In the long run, it would be better to know how the other person feels whether the answer is 'yes' or 'no'

It doesn't mean its unhealthy, lots of people think they're in love with someone and don't tell them, and if you end up telling them it could end up they have the same feelings, or not, its a 50-50 chance and your heartbroken for what a week and then back out on your quest for 'the one'

Sometimes to not say everything you feel is best course of action, if it will hurt someone else or alter their lifestyle-choice.

 but if you tell them how you feel, they MIGHT just love you too.......you will not know for sure until you say so.
But it may not be the right thing to do, even so. It depends on your circumstances sometimes......................Timing.
