I agree, but i think he's screwed either way.
If he chooses someone else, which I think he will, then all Hillary's supporters will vote for
McCain because they hate obama.
But if he does choose her, then many people will see this as a weakness because they will say he was
just giving in to pressure. |

I've grown to loathe Hillary during this campaign and I certainly think he shouldn't even think
about making her his running mate considering the disgraceful campaign she has run. I can't say I'm
confident that he won't, however. He likes to make unconventional bridge-building times gestures. It
fits with the image he likes to project as a unifying figure.
You're right that some Hillary supporters are probably so embittered that they won't vote for Obama
in the election, though it depends on what she herself says and does after she finally acknowledges
her inevitable defeat (unless Obama gets whacked first, of course, haha). If anything, this makes it
more likely that he will offer her the slot, though, because it's the only sure way to heal the
rift.
Billary would be a sinister interfering influence in any Obama administration, and he should reject
the idea of a Hillary VP outright. |
