Atheists Should Apply The Same Scrutiny They Do To Christianity.
People in general are attacking Christianity. BUT, what would happen when you question to your own beliefs? Where do you get them?

Yes XieXie they should, and in my experience many or even most of them do. However there is something you should keep in mind; most atheist come to their belief initially by rejecting the religion they are exposed to the most. And given that this is an English speaking web site that religion is usually Christianity among the atheists here. So that means they’ve been thinking about Christianity longer than Atheism. Additionally it might seem to you as simple as an argument between there being something or there being nothing, but Christianity has a whole mythology and framework that goes with it so it is subject to logical discussion at every aspect of that framework where as atheism has just one tenet of there being nothing of a supernatural nature.
But finally XieXie I would like to leave you with this. If you believe that someone just as smart or smarter than you can’t look at the same information and after just as much or more thoughtful consideration come to a different conclusion than you then you are not only guilty of hubris but also making a grave error in judgment as well as showing a distinct lack of respect for other people.

This debate’s heading is a sentence fragment. XieXie didn’t finish the sentence. The debate should have stated “Atheists Should Apply The Same Scrutiny They Do To Christianity To Atheism As Well”. Anyway, I can only agree if we are speaking about an atheist who conclusively affirms the nonexistence of a god. I cannot, however, agree if we are speaking about an atheist who rejects theism, because, although I am not an atheist, I too reject theism as a belief system. I say this because it is kind of the same as asking someone “Why don’t you believe in my imaginary friend?” (no comparison to any god intended). A better question to ask is “Why should I”, rather than “Why don’t I?” So overall, I’d say I partially agree.

Yes, they should, so they can realize their beliefs are delusional and join us.

Watch out Mark. You sound like you’re admitting your beliefs are nothing but delusions.

The point about an atheist is that they have no believe.

That is not my point. My point is when examining a different belief, they should look at their own.
