Oil Tycoons Are Price Gouging
It is my opinion that oil companies have taken advantage of the American people. Oil companies need to feel the the economic strain as well, not the millions that live on a tight budget and now are forced to live pay check to pay check. I bet those CEO's and senior company boards members don't lose a nights sleep. They are getting paid so why should they care about the hard working Americans?

And the British. The current price for gas in The UK, is £1.20 per liter and I think there are 4 to the imperial gallon and a bit less to the American.
About two thirds of that cost is fuel duty.
It wouldn't be so bad if the money was spent on road or domestic issues. But the fact is Governments meddle in all sorts of thing that the general public don't give a hoot about. Mind how u vote next time you have the chance.

I so agree! If oil companies were paid the same as us, they would never survive. I get paid 7.15 an hour, if an oil executive was paid the same, he/she would probably rob a bank. : ) a man on 94.5 New Country said he stole electricity from his neighbor because he worked for the oil companies. And then a cop called in saying he would let the man keep stealing the electricity, even though stealing is against the law. If oil companies want to feel the wrath of the middle class, we all need to stop supporting the oil industries and start supporting alternative fuels that will also save the environment instead of destroying it. LONG LIVE LORDI!!!!!!!

 Drake, I'm sorry to inform you, but at $7.15 an hour, your not in the middle class. I not saying that to make you feel bad but hopefully to tell you something that can inspire you...... if YOU want to make a good living, find what you love and are good at, the money will follow without effort. As for the oil companies, their profits are obscene and unless American or even people of the world don't start waking up, and start complaining to people who can do something about, it will just keep going on and getting worse. Greed begets more greed as power hunger begets more power hunger.
