Mostly the cars used worldwide are those driven by black energy generated from coal and fossil oil.
The emission of these cars has caused severe injury to the environment of earth resulting into
global warming. Now looking into the fact that batteries also pollute the environment, it clearly
shows that the extent of pollution is much less than it is caused by burning of oil. The smoke
emitted by the conventional cars contains harmful gases like carbon-mono-oxide. On the other hand
the hybrid and the battery powered cars use cells as fuel, which generates electricity using
hydrogen gas following a chemical procedure, and the exhaust contains only heat and water. Moreover
the money saved in the production cost of these cars can be used in manufacturing eco-friendly cars.
According to the scientists these cars bear significant promises of a cleaner and pollution free
earth. |

From what I have seen and read, I think that PLUG-IN hybrids are a decent idea in the making, we
just don't have the technology to produce ane with a large enough range before it needs to be
charged. However, I think that gas-electric hybrids are dumb. Let ME explain: Right now, a Prius
will get you a decent 45 mpg, but a comparatively sized diesel car can give you a good deal more
than 60 mpgs, all while costing less and not being the slowest thing on the road. So until the
battery technology gets better, warm up to diesels, America! They are so much better than you
think!! |

Currently, battery production technology is polluting so it doesn't really matter if you've got a
hybrid or not, you're still harming the environment. It's just another of those liberal "holier
than thou" movements that don't really mean anything but a reason to pat yourself wrongly on the
back. |
