The piece is called soap and steel and yes it is art.
If you are not happy with the purchase using tax dollars write to the agency that handles
acquisitions and express your dislike of their purchase. You will never buy a piece of art with
taxpayer dollars that all taxpayers will like, that is just impossible. |

I agree 100% with your statement. Art is not just anything. I have seen, in a public gallery, 50
pounds of sand on the floor, roughly shaped as a square, nothing else; is that art ?
There is a limit to what I can accept as Art... |
