Anyone Who Denies Global Warming Is An Imbecile
With all of the scientific data that has accumulated, denyng that global warming is occurring is like denying that water is wet. Anyone who denies the reality of global warming is an imbecile.

Yes, but I wouldn't go as far as to call the naysayers imbeciles.. They're merely misinformed, in denial or skeptic...

When concerns about global warming first started to circulate, the retard right in America, fed, of course, by the propaganda of the oil companies who stood to lose from the growth of environmental consciousness, concocted their first propaganda strategy : There was no global warming. It was a total myth.

After a number of years in which you had ridiculous statistical barriers being broken, with things like 95% of the hottest years ever recorded being in the last 2 or 3 decades, when measurements have been made since the 1860s, this strategy became untenable. So they evolved a new propaganda strategy. This one was that, yes, global warming was occurring, but it was not being caused by humans. This, too, is a bizarre fringe view well outside the mainstream of scientific consensus.

What is hilarious, though, but at the same time tragic, is to see these lumbering America retards still following the first propaganda strategy : That global warming isn't occurring at all. They obviously didn't get the memo about how the strategy has changed.

How deep down dumb does a person have to be to believe that global warming isn't occurring at all? To ignore the masses of statistical evidence that point to a warming trend? One example of a vast number :

You have to be caveman dumb to believe there is no global warming. You have to be so dumb that you have basically devolved from being a homo sapiens and gone back to being a Cro-Magnon.

What turns it from funny to tragic is that these imbeciles affect everyone else. They are pouring our entire civilisation down the tubes of history with their stupidity. They are murdering your grand-children and great-grandchildren just as surely as if they were cutting their throats in the crib.

HIDELL- Love your use of vitriol and invective. This certainly proves your point.....

P.S. Please read my apology and retraction in the "If liberals owned half...." debate.

P.S.S. My apology does not mean that I am going to let up on 'ya. :-)

I'm agreeing with this debate's heading due to a technicality. Global Warming is occurring. That’s a given. However, the “dangers” and “threats” of Global Warming as of now are highly debatable. The scientific evidence has produced no outcome to which we can draw certainty from. To assume that Global Warming is as bad as the media and environmentalists say it is to also assume they’re honest and not simply out to make a buck.

Global Warming to my knowledge is definetly occurring as we speak. I figure that its causes are not only high carbon emissions but also the natural cycle of our planet. There are plenty of facts that support global warming, i'm not going to state any of them, but if you search them you will find them.

......and if you search Global Cooling, you will find it has been for the past 10 years. It's over for the attention seekers.

While there is evidence that the planet is warming, there isn't any evidence to suggest that it's not a natural occurrence. We know that the sun is warming the planet more today than it did in the past and that ambient temperatures are up because of it.

Unfortunately, you get too many braindead liberals running around screaming "THE SKY IS FALLING!" when it's unclear whether man has any responsibility for what's happening, nor any way of changing it even if we were.

This debate is about whether it's occurring, not what's causing it. That's the whole point.

Funny I heard that the scientist said the earth is in a circular orbit of the sun, which it does every so often and that keeps us closer and warmer, until the earth goes back to it's normal eliptical orbit. Now if that's true, then this is just a phase and not global warming at all.

Not true. There is actually an equal amount of evidence that counters global warming. For instance, why would the North Pole be melting (it is) and the South Pole not be melting (it isn't) if there was global warming. Personally, I believe that global warming exists, but I don't believe you an imbecil if you deny global warming.

Well said! I like your thorough reasoning backed up by facts! Your reasoned, balanced approach would do any person proud. I especially like your use of that undeniable logic- "Imbecile". How can anyone overcome that? Your careful quotation of data is admirable also.

Stop pretending you're a rational human being. The facts are out there, and you choose to ignore them. Here's some facts to chew on, genius :
