| Animals Should Not Be Experimented On, They Were Here First! |
| Animals are being murdered and tortured daily just for our purposes, cleaning products, medical needs, beauty! Does anyone understand that there living breathing thinking creatures with lives and families of there own? Besides there anatomy isn't the same as ours so it can't guarantee it's results...did you know rats can die from lemon juice but not arsenic? These tests are not perfect and it will catch up to us just like the Avian Pandemic! |

Be on the for it side if your agianst expermenting on animals! We are not imune, we are not perfect,
and we will get sick and die. Get use to it! Instead of tourtureing millions of animals daily just
to find out causes and cures is stupid! If we think were so above everybody else when were not why
can't we think of another way? Because we can't we like torturing and killing animals. There living
things with families and friends and can feel pain, so stop thinking it's all gonna be all right,
cause its gonna end soon. Currently there is a thing called the Avian Flu. It is a pandemic that
will kill anywhere from 360 million to every living person on this planet. And it will hit this
generation, and it is at stage 3. This is a result of abuse and experimentation and also bad
habitats for animals where it created this virus stand, that we can all die from. There is no cure,
it is man made, and no food, electricity, supplies, or hospitals we will have. We will be thrown
back before all our high tech stuff and we will learn how to live without. That's if we survive. |

1) Animals in labs are HIGHLY protected by the govenment so there is no chance of them being
mistreated
2) As from 2009 no beauty products will be tested on animals
3) In the UK, the Netherlands and Belguim, animal tests for cosmetics is illegal
4) Rats may be allergic to lemon but mice are not.
5) Differences between ourselves and animals can be factored into tests - scientists aren't dummies
you know
6) Animal testing is more accurate than any computer based tests available at this time.
7) Animals generally fight within their familiys and sometimes kill each other, they do not regret
it.
8) Animals were NOT here first, before human beings there were no animals which we would recognise
today because ALL ANIMALS HAVE evolved. |

It is the law things are tested on animals. |

Don't worry the animals will get the planet back soon enough. The current civilization might stagger
along for another 1000 years with series of complete miracles
(the lucky kind not the other kind) but even that’s a million to one. After that maybe a 100,000
years before some portion of humanity evolves into something a little more stable and Homo sapiens
sapiens goes into the recycle bin of evolution. |

Experimenting on animals is wrong. Just because they aren't humans, doesn't mean that they should be
treated with cruelty either.Testing animals is wrong because they breath in all those fumes and
medicines and it makes them sick and of course, they die. WHAT A LIFE. I am against it. And everyone
else who is against it are my new best friends:] |

Assuming animals were here first....
Does that make them more valuable than humans?
Nobody like the idea of testing on animals but if it helps save human life, it has to be done. |

Your point about animal testing not being useful is just silly, animal's have been very useful in
medical science. Monkeys, for example, have been used to develop vaccines against rubella and in the
surgical transplanting of corneas to restore vision. Open-heart surgery was developed in dogs, and
the critical diabetes work, leading to the development of insulin, was also done in dogs.
The development of artificial arteries, the possibility
of reversing spinal cord injury, and the ageing process are all being investigated using animal
models. The best hopes to cure malaria, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases, epilepsy, clinical
obesity, infertility and a variety of birth defects all rely on current animal experiments.
If there were good alternatives to animals that worked better or as well, for less money and hassle,
scientists would use them.
Animal welfare is not the aim of animal experiments,
human welfare is. It is right and proper that animals be sacrificed for the cause of humanity. If
all animal experimentation were stopped the slowdown would be real and the cost would be high.
Malaria kills 2.7 million people every year, over five people every minute, most of them children
under the age of five. A delay in developing a vaccine by just one month would kill 225,000 people.
Are you really so fed up with humanity that you would sacrifice us and our children to save the
monkeys? |
