How would you like it if people put some chemicals on your eyes to see if they burneed just so some
one could look pretty (and a lot of people look worse with it). You wouldnt like it. Animal testing
is inhumane, sick, and completely wrong.
If people want to use the product, then you should have to test it. Think, more people kill animals
in animal testing then hunting and animal abuse all together. Frankly, I would wrather be hunted and
at least used for a worthy purpose then be used for animal testing. That is if I were an animal.
Also, its not a real nececity to where make up. Ill say more later. |

Animals that are tested one can not fend for themselves, much less fight back after they've been
taken to some lab to be tested on. It's sick that we do it to them in the name of "science". They
should just stop now with the testings and have all labs shut down that use animals as subjects. |

ANIMAL TESTING IS WRONG! We don't need to test on anything! It is disgusting and horrible and we
just gonna have to put up with a few deaths! We are equal to all animals! If we were stripped of our
guns and knifes and put in to nature we would die because we are almost the lowest on the food
chain! Animals for years have been serving on their own!.............ps..i have athsma attacks and i
spend every waking minute in a hosptial in Washington DC...and i would NEVER want a innocent living
creature no matter how small to go through testing for me...because they dont deserve it, what makes
us so much better.. Were going have to deal with it...we not invinicible, people die

It is most definetly wrong! I believe that if anyone is going to test it, it should be a volunteer.
Obviously, animals can't volunteer, as we don't understand them. Therefore, no animals should be
tested on. It's as simple as that. |

It's so bad. Animals are being taken advantage of just because they don't have a voice to speak out
and say 'hey, i don't wanna be treated like this. I'm off' i know this place where they rescued
animals and when their better or w.e people can adopt them and look after them so they get a good
chance in life. I think animal testing is a wasting life. People say 'sure but animals die soon
anyway' it's still wrong. To test cosmetics like lipstick, they feed an animal sticks of it to see
how many before they die. To test shampoo they hold their eyes open and drop concentrated shampoo in
their eyes.
Although, it has come to saving people's lives. I suppose this subject depends on whether you
look at the big picture or small one. Big picture- you save people. Small picture- lots of animals
are being tortured and slaughtered. |

I 100% agree with this. SHAC support animal rights. And i think more people should be aware of what
happens in places like HLC where they test on animals.
They are not just tested on, they are wrongfully mistreated, cut up, used and left to die - dogs,
monkeys, rabbits etc used for their work, put through pain, misery, not ever getting the chance to
see daylight
stuffed in a cage a lone waiting to die after being used in a foul way for things such as perfumes
disgusts me.
Imagine yourself as one of those harmless animals.
What they go through and the state they are left in is disturbing.
Something needs to be done about this. It is not right. Nor is it in any way humane |

I don't think testing on animals is right, they can't tell us no. It's sick and disgusting! Besides
the reactions animals may have could be different, then the reactions we may have. Humans have the
ability to say no, so we should test on humans. I would totally try out skin cream, or a new brownie
mix or whatever, to save a few animals. It's just horrible. |

Technically, it isn't just a few deaths that we are "just gonna have to put up with", it's easy for
you to say is you are not vulnerable to getting asthma attacks, aids, diabetic fits, allergic
reactions, sistic vibrosis or other life threatening conditions. With out animal testing 60% - 70%
of us would be dead. Nice huh? |

Unless it becomes a World Health Organization rule not to produce vaccines and medicines tested or
derived from animals, then it will continue, and if it didn't then it will be survival of the

If you don't like animal testing, i assume you've never taken any kind of medicine as they are all
tested on animals. Cosmetic testing on animals i agree is sick, but pharmaceutical testing is vital.
The sad fact is that a minority of people against animal testing are fanaticly bullies who use lies
and intimidation to force people to accept their beliefs and that's just pathetic. |

Anybody who opposes animal testing is nothing but a hypocrite. If a close family member were
severely ill, you would do anything to save them. It is likely that any medication would have been
tested on animals, so would you choose the medicine that saves their life or watch them die a slow
painful death because you don't agree with the death of a few rats?
