Well some people might think it is cruel, but it is a human need, for a healthy population.
Manufacturers rely on it to have their products approved. So if people are really prepared to make
do and mend and sacrifice their general health then we should abolish it. |

Generally true, plus there are review boards that monitor protocols and actually banish doctors or
scientists who are caught abusing the preapproved procedures. So I think if the animal testing is
for legitimate medical research into severe diseases then yes the testing is justified. I still
object to cosmetics being tested on animals though because that's all for the sake of vanity, plus
who wants to see a chimp with purple eyeliner anyway. |

Animal testing is cruel no matter what you do. You are holding an animal against it's will and
testing something that in the end might be fine on animals but not humans. If you need to test
something test it on the person it's for! |
