Amy Winehouse Is A Really Bad Musician
To me, her music sounds like a drunk rant. Your opinions would be appreciated. Attempt to bring me to terms if you disagree.

I'm not a big fan of her myself. However, some people think she's incredible. It all depends on the person. I personally can't stand her song Rehab. Most annoying song ever. Its almost as bad as Lipgloss.

Lol, omg, on tv she's drunk she makes my dad look sober lol. On her londen broadcast I was waiting for her to tip over one of her ten drinks. She would be pretty if she would fix herself up a little and be able to walk in a strait line! On the other hand she singing about rehab all you can hear her saying rehab no no no out of all her songs she sounds like Bjorks moaning i mean singing

Her songs absolutely suck(a song about gong to rehab?!) and she took most grammys, which deserved to go to kanye west, whose Graduation was probably one of the best albums of 2007.

Amy Wino is a waste of space and is overhyped garbage.

Go look up recent photo on that moron and see what the heroin use has done.

Yea. I really don't like her music. I don't appreciate her voice or her face make-up. But she makes money so she's probably not the worst ever.

I wouldn't go so far as that. I like her. I like her voice, at least. I can see what you mean, but still disagree.

Actually I think her music is pretty cool, it is her I dislike. She's hardly a good role model for young people today. But her music is definitely unique and up to date. I think people misunderstand and judge her because she has problems, but when you think about it, there are many people with no spotlight on them whatsoever who are in similar situations as she is. Her music however, is how she expresses herself, it's her cry out for help, even if she doesn't realise it herself. Music is a form of art and how you perceive it will be completely different to how anyone else will perceive it.

 When did we start to looking to rockstars as role models for our children?

Musicians have always been rebellious, have always taken drugs, got in to fights, etc. They are particularly attractive to teenagers who are naturally experiencing a stage of rebelliousness. It is parents, teachers, politicians, etc who should be role models to our children, not rockstars. I really have no idea where this ridiculous notion came from and yet a lot of people have mentioned it in this debate.

I like her music, i think she is quite talented, but her image is disgusting. I personally believe until she gets herself sorted she should not be allowed to sell records. She is not a good role model

I disagree.
I really like her music.
It's just unfortunate that she herself is an absolute junkie twit and will most likely die in the next few years.

I have to disagree.. I like her music a lot. But people judge her because she has a lot of problems.. Like with drink and drugs... But this world is full of druggies who sit in drug dens injecting themselves and wasting they're life away.. At least Amy Winehouse has actually had some success you got to give her credit for that... And i cant condone her behaviour in the slightest.. Her fans look up to her and she lets them down by not arriving at her concerts and stuff like that...but it doesn't make her a bad musician.. Shes a human being with problems and she just happens to have found fame..which only makes her problems worse because shes being slated in magazines and on the news and in the public eye...in a way i have a bit of sympathy for her.. Bu in another sense i think she really needs to sort herself out

I wouldn't go that far. Personally her music is not to my taste either, but she has many fans who appreciate her music, and I would not call her a really bad musician, although I can see where you are coming from.
