If America is seen as conservative in the world's eyes, so what? America, whether conservative or
liberal, is first and foremost independent enough not to care to deeply about what the world thinks
of our political landscape.
Conservative? You mean we want small government? A free market? Individual freedoms versus mass
equality? These are what are typically considered conservative values. I don't see much of this
going on these days, at least not going in that direction, especially by those who claim to be
conservative.
I don't think the term "Americans" can be used to group people together unless you are referring to
people who have citizenship here.
Other than that, making blanket statement about "Americans" doesn't really make sense to me.
Americans are good people. And labels like liberal and conservative break down over time. If you're
a conservative you're for gun-control, but then you're also against abortion right? It's a lame way
to white-wash a political landscape which is much more complex than that.
