They have nothing to lose. Pay is great from their perspective. |

99% is a bit harsh, don't you think. Immigrants work for under minimum wage and under the table a
lot. Many Americans refuse to work under the table because if they're hurt they can't get workman's
comp. It isn't safe to work under the table for labor jobs. The companies that hire illegal
immigrants should consequences greater than they have now. |

I understand your point even if your data is fuzzy. But here in the Midwest what is happening is
that many people have moved away from the smaller communities and a lot of small towns were in
danger of disappearing. But fortunately a lot of Hispanic immigrants have moved into these small
towns bolstered the work force and literally saved them from disappearing. The Midwestern work ethic
and the Mexican work ethic seem to mesh together just fine. |

Where do you get the idea that 99% of Americans don't want to work? That's a remarkable thing to
say with little to back it up. I would say that there are a sizable number of Americans,
particularly younger Americans that feel "entitled" and are bereft of good work ethics. |
