I agree because the only thing that the people of the middle east hate more then America is Israel,
and for the most part they only hate America because they support israel, support them with weapons
and money to keep them ass there pawns in this chess game called the middle east. Now if the
relations were minimal, then Arabs would begin to like America again. Close relations with israel is
a death sentence for any nation |

Relations should be kept to a minimal due to the fact that our troops do not need more reasons to be
shot at by fundamentalist driven terrorists who do not care if they die, our troops on the other
hand do care if they die and so do their families and so should the American citizens, this is not
Patton's WWII philosophy of "the point is not to die for your country, the point is to make the
other bostard die for his" terrorists gladly die for their beliefs and we have to do everything in
our power to not give them a reason to fling themselves at our soldiers. That's why relations should
be at a minimal, not only that but to create good relations with other Muslim countries who give
homes to many of these terrorists. |

I recognize the Jewish/Muslim relations in the Middle East and the role played by the U.S. In it are
complex and sensitive subjects. But let's be honest, if Israel were simply left alone and allowed
to exist most of these problems would go away. And if the Muslim nations supporting Palestine's
fight instead used the war money to take in those refugees and give them meaningful lives in their
countries or to build up Palestine's remaining territory as a decent place to live then most of
these problems would go away.
And I'll agree Israel has done some brutal and provocative things in the neighborhood, but the
Muslim world has surrounded and goaded them like bullies so how do you expect them to react to
you?
And finally, I'll grant Israel stole territory from Palestine at the start of their state, but
depending on how far back you go in history it was also stolen from the Jews in the past too. Life
has to move on. Israel exists now and I don't regret that the U.S. Helps them to continue to exist. |

Let's face it. One of the main reasons Terrorist organizations have such a hatred for the USA is
because of the lifestyle they live.
The Americans have such a good lifestyle, many poorer countries (referring to the common people, not
the rich dictators in power) are easily incited against such a fortunate country.
The fact that some Americans look down upon every other country doesn't help either, as they are
stereotyped for all Americans from Terrorist point of view.
Religious Interpretation is another factor. There are good and bad in every race. Unfortunately, the
bad are mad at Americans because they are "Infidels" who don't believe in Allah..and thus, are
deemed appropriate to kill.
Now, on to Israel. They've been the scapegoat's for everyone's problems for thousands of years.
You've got a problem? Pharaoh is running out of workers? Jewish slaves. Roman Emperors need more
money, so they tax more money to people. Jews can't pay, it's all their fault!
They've been kicked around like garbage, human refuse, for too long..and they're not just gonna sit
around while they have enemies approaching. They are God's chosen people (from their point of view)
and because of this people were often jealous and..jealously leads to hatred.
After the Holocaust, they were given a small portion of land to call their own after so long. And
they're not giving it up without a fight. Abandoning a friend in need isn't a good thing to do. If
Israel gets taken over, then America will lose another ally in the middle east. When the close, easy
to attack Jews are gone..who are the Jihadists coming for next? |
