| American Athletics Is Pervasively Corrupt |
| Reading about the trial of Trevor Graham, the drug dealer who had ties to many of America's so-called athletic stars, some of whom have now been exposed as drug-takers and some of whom haven't been exposed yet, it's clear that American athletics is pervasively corrupt. This is not just a case of one or two bad apples. This is a case of systematic corruption, in which virtually all big-name, gold-medal winning stars are involved in drug-taking. Being drug-free is the exception, not the norm, at the top levels of American athletics. |

What about the corruption at the bottom, like the high school kid who graduates without being able
to read because he’s good at basketball? But the problem is only one in thousand like him ever
make a dime at basketball. The rest just screw up their chances at ever getting a real job. |

Everything today is about money. And you can't make any money when you lose. So shoot them up with
steroids or tape the other teams calls, because if that's the only way to win, then we will do it. |

You may be right but I don't call it corruption. Try to run 100 meters in less than 10 seconds by
drinking spring water and eating lettuce only....
Today, to be among the best, you need more than exercise and willpower... |
