We have the same symptoms.
Loss of 'morality'.
Loss of passion for the nation etc.
Apathy. And I am sure there are other things.
I am not an economist but that's just what I think. |

Yes, following the content of history, we can predict that America will crumble. Just looking at
their economy, evidently shows major issues among the once great nation. I agree with Hidell, Bush
was the beggining of the end. This is a respectable assumption, surely a nation cannont prevail
victory, and rain supremecy over the world forever.
I think the only quuestions to this notion are, when is American going to crumble, and how badly
?
If Barrack Obama, and the next few Presidents of the U.S play their cards right, the U.S may not
fall to hard. But its hard to go against the saying, the bigger you are the harder you fall.
As a Canadain, who highly depends on the American economy, and is concerned for the U.S people, I
have best wishes for the U.S and their ability to overcome the barrage of oncoming issues coming
their way.
I really hope China plays nice. |

Yep. Alaska, California, and new Hampshire will be among the first states to secede and form their
own nations. |

There is no doubt in my mind that the country I love and have served will fall due to its
irresponsibility. America has stepped off of a solid foundation (Constitution and Bill of Rights)
and now stands on shifty ground. |

Yes, every empire eventually falls - it's just a question of when. The US will fall. Ironically,
history shows that often these giants have either already fallen or are in the process of it and
they may be unaware it's even happening or that the hour of their demise is so late. A person needs
to wonder if that may already be true for the USA.
I don't think we're done yet, but I do think we're headed that way faster than necessary and faster
than most people are willing to admit. |

All empires are predicated on the "principle" of constant invasion to expand and theft of wealth to
pay for it. The reality is, the more widespread the empire becomes, the fewer countries that are
left to invade. Eventually, the revenue needed to pay for the war machine stops and the empire
collapses.
It happened to every empire before the US - the British, the Soviets, the Nazis, the Italians, the
Spanish, the French, the Germans, the Austrians, the Turks, the Portuguese, the Dutch, etc. The US
is no different. |
